Campbell Pilates & Wellness is a leading Pilates studio and nutritionist located in Tauranga, New Zealand. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Campbell Pilates & Wellness is dedicated to helping you restore easy movement, strength, flexibility, and balance, so you can get back to moving the way you used to.
The lead teacher and coach at Campbell Pilates & Wellness is Sally Campbell. With over 25 years of experience in Pilates, Sally has practised in Australia, New York, London, and now Tauranga. She is passionate about seeing Pilates transform clients' bodies and bringing them back to feeling great with new and confident movement habits, free from aches and pains. Sally teaches in a down-to-earth, straightforward manner, with compassion, positivity, and humour, while challenging you to get the most out of your lessons.
She is also a great example of how Pilates can improve bone density, having rebuilt her own when doctors told her it was impossible. Look out for her Bone Health classes!
Sally holds various movement qualifications, including being a Balanced Body Advanced Reformer Instructor, CYQ Level 3 UK Certified in Mat Pilates, and a certified Buff Bones Instructor. Additionally, she is a certified nutrition advisor and a Red Cross First Aider. Sally holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from Waikato University, New Zealand.
Campbell Pilates & Wellness offers both group and private Pilates classes. Group mat Pilates classes are currently held at Matua Hall on Tuesday evenings and Oropi Hall on Wednesday mornings during school terms. These classes run for a full 60 minutes, and booking for the 8-week term is preferred. If you're new to Pilates or haven't updated your details in the last 12 months, please download and complete the enrolment form.
For those recovering from an injury or with specific health conditions, group classes may not be suitable. Private lessons are available to cater to individual needs. Additionally, Campbell Pilates & Wellness offers gentle/beginners Pilates classes focusing on learning alignment, breathing, strength, and balance. These classes help build body awareness and teach you how to use your body more evenly while unlearning movement habits that may not serve you well.
You will stretch and strengthen your entire body with control in these classes.
In addition to Pilates, Campbell Pilates & Wellness also provides nutrition advice, as Sally is a certified nutrition advisor. This holistic approach helps support overall wellness and vitality.
