Camp Hill Swimming Club

Camp Hill Swimming Club, located in Kings Heath, Birmingham, is a competitive club that caters to swimmers of all ages. With a strong emphasis on family values, the club prides itself on being friendly and welcoming. Under the guidance of qualified coaches and volunteer helpers, swimmers at Camp Hill SC have the opportunity to develop and thrive, regardless of their ability, gender, age, or background.

The club participates in two leagues throughout the year: the National Arena League and the Nuneaton & Bedworth Junior League. In the 2015 season, Camp Hill SC placed 12th out of 17th in the Arena League and 17th out of 24th in the Junior League. The club is particularly interested in attracting young swimmers aged 8 and above who are new to swim clubs and want to train with them for the junior league.

One of the unique aspects of Camp Hill SC is that it has its own training pool, offering numerous advantages to its members. Training sessions are conducted six days a week at King Edward VI, Camp Hill Schools. The club boasts a diverse group of swimmers, including club, county, and regional-level athletes, with ages ranging from 6 years old to Open swimmers. Camp Hill SC became Swim21 accredited in May 2015, a testament to the club's commitment to high standards and excellence.

Heading over to the news section, the Winter Club Championships held in November 2022 was a resounding success. Swimmers, both old and new, participated in a variety of events, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and support within the club. The Chair of the club, Lindsey, along with her committee, organised a licenced meet that ran smoothly and efficiently. The event would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the poolside officials, computer wizards, announcer, and volunteers.

Camp Hill SC congratulates all the swimmers on their accomplishments and encourages them to be proud of their achievements.

The club offers a range of session times throughout the week to accommodate different levels of swimmers. From Monday to Friday, both development and performance sessions are available, providing swimmers with the opportunity to train and improve their skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.

The committee, responsible for the overall management and operation of the club, consists of dedicated individuals who contribute their time and expertise to ensure the smooth running of Camp Hill SC. The main training pool for Camp Hill SC is located at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys, with additional training pools available at Birmingham University Sport & Fitness Centre and King Edward's Boys School. The club also participates in regular competitions at Solihull, Tudor Grange Leisure Centre.
