Training sessions are held every Wednesday at the Prince of Wales Youth Club on 23 Military Road, with convenient parking available. Juniors (ages 5–16) train from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM. For seniors, beginners start at 7:30 PM and the session for all abilities runs from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Costs are £4 for juniors and £5 for seniors per session. Regulars can opt for direct debit, but one-off payments are also accepted via PayPal or bank transfer. Newcomers can borrow judo suits (judogi), but it’s recommended to wear loose clothing until you get your own.
Junior sessions have the added support of the Prince of Wales Youth Club. Financial aid is available if needed, and payments can be made online or in cash.
Safety is a top priority, with Covid measures in place. More details and membership information are available on their website. To join, complete the required paperwork in advance and ensure your British Judo membership is current for insurance.
