Carole Hellewell would like to invite all members of the sports community to join her for a fun and exhilarating experience at Carole Hellewell Ballroom & Latin Dance. Located in the lovely town of Fleet, Hampshire, Carole’s dance school offers engaging group lessons at All Saints Junior School every Monday evening. These sessions are tailored for beginners, improvers, and intermediate dancers looking to explore the world of Ballroom and Latin dance.
Carole has a rich background in dance, having trained under the likes of Peggy Spencer and Len Goodman from Strictly Come Dancing. She turned professional at just 16 and has since dedicated her life to teaching, inspiring countless students in social dance, exams, and competitions. Carole even has the unique experience of working with members of The Osmonds!
Classes at Carole Hellewell Ballroom & Latin Dance focus on one Ballroom or Latin style for a 3–4 week period, allowing students to master each dance's unique qualities. Lessons are thorough and focused, with no general dancing, but there are practise evenings arranged by Jude for extra improvement.

Not at all. You can come with a partner, a friend, or on your own, and class helpers can partner when needed.
Wear something comfortable and avoid shoes with a grippy sole like trainers. Smooth-sole shoes are ideal, and dance shoes with suede soles are recommended if you dance regularly.
No, classes are grouped by level and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. You can learn at your own pace and you will receive one to one help during class if required.
