Division 3 had a great run! The Carreras Bowls Club shone in the Basildon & District Lawn Bowls Association competitions, with several members reaching the finals and snagging some trophies. The ladies' team had a standout year too, securing a commendable third place in the Essex County Women's Bowling Association league.

Yes, we welcome new members and you do not need to be over 60 to play bowls. You can also join one of our Come and Try days for free instruction with qualified coaches and instructors and loaned bowls woods.
We are a friendly club open to men and ladies of all ages and abilities. All new members are allocated a buddy, an experienced member who can guide and explain everything.
You can find us in Gloucester Park near the Sporting Village, where the green is professionally maintained in excellent condition. We are at 138 Cranes Farm Road, Basildon.
