Cassiah's Dance Company Chatham is a dance studio located in Chatham, offering classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, HipHop, Lyrical, Acro, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Established in 2015, the studio strives to provide high level training to all students in a safe and nurturing environment. The goal is to help students build confidence, learn valuable life lessons, and cultivate a love for dance that will last a lifetime.
Owner and Artistic Director, Cassiah Pegg, brings a wealth of experience to the studio. She has been a successful performer and dancer since the age of 2, competing internationally in Beauty Pageants and Talent Shows. Cassiah is a highly skilled dancer, choreographer, and teacher, with expertise in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre, and Hip-Hop. She has also worked with National and Provincial Gymnasts, choreographing routines and enhancing their overall performances.
Cassiah holds a BA Honours in Drama & Communications, Media and Film, as well as a Bachelor of Education teaching diploma. She has graduated with a gold seal from the ADAPT syllabus teachers training program, completing extensive training in Tap and Jazz under the direction of Brian and Faye Foley. Cassiah is also a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance and has started adjudicating dance and talent competitions across Canada.
