Catch & Counter also offers an intermediate/advanced class on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for individuals who are confident with their strikes, defence, and movement. This class involves some contact and focuses on partner drills that replicate the fight process. Participants will explore strategy, fight IQ, fakes and feints, and setting up combos. Light sparring is also included.
Students are required to bring their own gloves and shin pads.
For individuals looking for a high-intensity interval training class, Catch & Counter offers a 45-minute boxing HIIT class on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. This class is suitable for all ages, shapes, and abilities, providing an energising and empowering workout. It is a non-contact class that includes guided shadow-boxing, bag work, old school conditioning, and bodyweight drills in a HIIT format. Individuals can work at their own pace, and all exercises can be modified if needed.
The class consists of warm-up, mobility, basic punches recap, and 12 rounds of HIIT style boxing bag work.
