The organiser of Central Scotland Ballet School Ltd, Mrs. Jacqueline Clark, has something she’d like to share with our sports community.

CSBS, located in Falkirk, welcomes students into an extended family atmosphere, offering lessons from preschool to advanced levels. Mrs. Clark, along with her daughters Amanda and Samantha, focus on creating fun and friendly classes while striving for excellence.

The teaching staff, all professional and qualified, guide students to reach their full potential. Pupils can sit for SQA accredited exams with UCAS points, and participate in competitions to showcase their skills. The school nurtures each student's growth, both in technical ability and confidence, celebrating their achievements along the way.

Though ballet is a core focus, CSBS offers a variety of dance styles to cater to different interests. Students can take classes in jazz, commercial, tap, lyrical, cheerleading, acrobatics, and musical theatre. They can join for enjoyment or aim for exams and competitions. The award-winning Starshine teams provide opportunities for those interested in competitive dance.

Central Scotland Ballet School, founded by Mrs. Clark as a former branch of the 'Scottish Academy of Dance', started with just 20 pupils. Today, it has grown to four large branches with over 1000 pupils. Maintaining high standards as a family business, the school prides itself on being more than just ballet.

Students benefit from excellent training in Classical Ballet, following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, and professional tuition in various commercial dance styles. They also have access to workshops with guest professional dance tutors and can audition for professional Associate schemes and holiday courses at dance colleges across the UK.

Each year, pupils gain places at top full-time ballet schools and dance colleges. Even during the pandemic, CSBS adapted brilliantly with over 2500 online lessons and events, showing their dedication to quality dance education in any situation.
