The Centre de ski de fond La Cl des Bois is a beloved ski resort located in Saint-Ferdinand with a rich history dating back thirty years. What started as a few kilometres of trails has now expanded into a comprehensive network spanning 30 kilometres.

One of the main attractions of the ski centre is the connection between Saint-Ferdinand and the Vianney sector. Skiers can embark on a memorable round trip from the Saint-Ferdinand chalet to the village of Vianney, 9 kilometres away. The surrounding trails cater to skiers of all levels and family groups, offering diverse and interesting landscapes from coniferous forests to the typical maple groves of the Bois-Francs region.

The ski resort boasts breathtaking views, reaching heights of nearly 2,000 feet and meandering close to Lake William. Skiers are treated to a variety of terrains and viewpoints that reward their efforts. Visitors are advised to bring their own food and beverages for the journey, as well as essential items like a waxing kit, repair kit, first aid kit, emergency shovel, trail map, and spare clothing.

The Centre de ski de fond La Cl des Bois offers courses for adults led by certified instructors. The adult ski lessons cost $40 and include equipment if needed. The sessions are scheduled for January 17, 24, and 31, as well as February 7, 2024, with two time slots available.
