Located on the scenic south shore of the Saguenay River, L'Anse-Saint-Jean is a picturesque village accessible only by Route 170, approximately an hour's drive from Chicoutimi and less from St-Simon. The Centre questre des Plateaux is situated on a charming site, slightly removed from St-Jean-Baptiste Street. In summer, a private road provides safe access to the Plateaux, where visitors can park near the stables. In winter, the Chemin des Plateaux is closed, but a snowmobile shuttle service is available to transport visitors to and from the site.
The facility offers 14 sturdy, calm, and sociable saddle horses well-suited to various terrain conditions encountered on our trails. Accompanied by one or two guides, depending on the number of riders, you can explore a wide network of trails through mountainous, forested, and riverside landscapes that have long been synonymous with the beauty of L'Anse-Saint-Jean.
