Centre Stage Academy of Dance, based in Devizes, Wiltshire, is your go-to place for dance classes for anyone aged 2 and up. Established in 2006, the academy offers everything from Classical Ballet to Modern Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Lyrical. The goal is simple – to provide a structured yet fun learning environment for all students.
Miss Charlotte L Boulton helms the academy. She started dancing at the age of 4 and worked her way up to joining the Royal Ballet Junior Associates. She later graduated from The Royal Academy of Dance with a BA (Hons) in Dance Education and Registered Teacher Status. Miss Charlotte hasn’t stopped there – she’s also gained qualifications in Modern and Tap, and has been involved in performances and productions as a dancer, actress, and choreographer.
The academy runs classes throughout the week at Sheep Street Baptist Church. There’s something for everyone – from Pre-School Ballet to Adult Classes. They even prepare students for RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern Jazz and Tap exams. Non-syllabus classes in Musical Theatre and Lyrical are on offer too, giving everyone a chance to get creative.
Safety and a friendly atmosphere are top priorities at Centre Stage Academy of Dance. Students can join in shows and workshops, improving their stage presence and performance skills. Plus, there’s a dance store on site for all your uniform needs.
