Challenger Baseball, the local Baseball club in Oakville, Canada, is thrilled to announce an upcoming event for children with physical and/or cognitive disabilities in the area. This adaptive baseball program focuses on fun and inclusivity, with games that are non-competitive and uniforms provided for all registered players.
The season will kick off in May and run through mid-August, with games scheduled on Sundays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Cornwall Park. Age groups range from TBall for children 6 and under to Senior for older participants, ensuring that everyone has a chance to participate.
To register, there is a non-refundable fee of $50, with online registration making it easy to assign the correct age bracket based on the birth date entered. Challenger Baseball is not only looking for players but also seeking adult volunteers and coaches to help support the initiative. No prior experience is necessary to join as a volunteer, so if you're interested in getting involved, please reach out to the club organizers via email.
