Chamber Swim School

Chamber Swim School has been a cornerstone of the local community, dedicated to teaching children to swim since its inception. Founded by Alex Chamber, the school operates in Oldham and places a strong emphasis on providing quality swimming lessons for children from the age of 3 years and 11 months. New families are warmly welcomed with a minimum of two free trial sessions conducted by their qualified instructors.

Alex ensures a safe and supportive environment for all. With class sizes capped at eight children, every child receives the individual attention they deserve. Recognising that some children may need additional support, Chamber Swim School also provides helpers in the water to assist those less confident.

Registered with Swim England, the school adheres to rigorous teaching standards and follows the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme. This ensures that all pupils not only learn to swim but also build on their abilities within a structured development pathway.

All the instructors at Chamber Swim School hold ASA Level 1 or 2 qualifications and are DBS checked. They come with extensive experience, having either coached or competed in the Greater Manchester area. Their expertise ensures that each child is well-prepared for the possibility of joining competitive swimming clubs.

The lessons are offered on Wednesdays, from 6pm to 8:30pm, and on Saturdays, from 10am to 12pm. These sessions cater to a range of skill levels—from beginners to more advanced swimmers. For those excelling in their skills, the school offers Water Safety and Swimming Challenge awards.
