The golf course at Charterhouse Golf Club is open seven days a week. During term time, the course is open from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm or dusk, whichever is earlier, from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, the course is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm or dusk, whichever is earlier. During holidays, the opening hours vary, with the course being open from dawn or 7:00 am to dusk.
” Friends of Charterhouse” members have access to the course at any time it's not in use for School or other events. However, Charterhouse pupils take precedence over “Friends” when teeing off, with limited restrictions on playing times, mainly in the afternoons. Teeing-off times cannot be reserved by Members of the Golf Club, except for School events, Club Matches, and Competitions. Play typically starts from the 1st Tee on a first-come, first-play basis, with pupils receiving priority.
To become a member, applicants must pay the Joining Fee and Annual Subscription. Upon payment, members receive a Bag Tag, Membership card plastic holder, and yellow lanyard for identification purposes on the course.
