About
The Checking Power Camp offered by Torjager Hockey Ltd is the perfect opportunity for players in Calgary to sharpen their body checking skills and build confidence on the ice. This camp is designed for those looking to improve their strength, balance, and agility while learning to take checks safely during gameplay. Participants will work on proper body positioning, awareness, and techniques to either gain possession of the puck or defend against opponents effectively.
With a focus on corner and small zone play, players will have the chance to practice battling in tight spaces and develop their power, speed, and balance. The camp offers 1.75 hours of ice time each day for U13 and U15 players, as well as 1 hour of off-ice training aimed at enhancing core strength, agility, balance, and speed.
Taking place at Springbank Arena from August 5 to 9, 2024, the Checking Power Camp promises a dynamic program curated to elevate participants' hockey skills to the next level.
