Cheltenham Ballroom, previously known as County Dancing School Gloucestershire, has been a reliable and established dance school in Cheltenham since 2008. Renowned for its friendly and lively atmosphere, the school is led by the talented Natassia Overthrow as the principal teacher.

The school offers a range of classes suitable for dancers of all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or aiming to compete in medallist or open competitions, Cheltenham Ballroom has classes that cater to your needs. The classes are structured to teach the basics and progress to more advanced levels. Various styles are covered, including Waltz, Tango, Vienesse Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, ChaChaCha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive, and alternative dances such as American Smooth, Argentinian Tango, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata.

For children ages under 8 and under 12, Cheltenham Ballroom offers specialised children's lessons introducing them to the world of Ballroom and Latin dancing. Additionally, they have the opportunity to explore other dance styles such as Lyrical, Contemporary Ballet, Jazz, Theatre, and Street.

The dance school values its students and strives to create a supportive environment. In addition to regular classes, Cheltenham Ballroom organises weekly practises and social events throughout the season, which runs from September to July. There is a break in August and Christmas to allow dancers to recharge and spend time with their loved ones.

Apart from regular classes, Cheltenham Ballroom also provides private lessons, professional demos, wedding dance choreography, corporate event performances, and workshops. They cater to all types of occasions, be it a couple's first dance at a wedding or a corporate team-building activity.

As a member of Professional Teachers in the UKA (United Kingdom Alliance), Natassia brings knowledge and expertise to her teaching.
