About

Cheryl McCormack Academy of Dance in New Bedford offers dance and performing arts instruction for students ages 2 through adult. It runs classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, with schedules varying by experience and age. The program includes ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, acrobats, and musical and live theatre training, plus an in-house ballet company and a dance competition team. Boys receive free lessons, and beginners can start from age two.

We accept beginners from two years old, and our full curriculum in Dance education runs from 2 years old to adult. Boys receive free lessons.

Class schedules vary based on a dancer's experience or age, and classes are conducted Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

We do not offer instruction in ballroom dance.
