About
Chester Centurions RUFC, based in Chester, England, is an inclusive rugby club founded in September 2017. After a fantastic turnout at Chester Pride 2017, there was a clear need for an inclusive club, and with the support of England Rugby and International Gay Rugby (IGR), they got started and have grown into a strong community.
The Centurions, led by their passionate team, welcome everyone, regardless of gender identity, sexuality, sporting ability, ethnicity, or background. They offer a safe and accepting space for all to enjoy the game of rugby. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newbie, the Centurions want you to join in.
Training sessions are every Friday from 7pm to 9pm at The Cheshire County Sports Club. They also offer touch rugby, a fast-paced, low-contact version of the sport that’s open to all genders and great for anyone, regardless of experience.
Interested in joining? Fill out the form on their website’s "Get in Touch" page or email them directly for more info. They’re actively recruiting players and supporters, and they’d love to hear from anyone keen to try rugby or find a new sport.
Apart from players, they welcome supporters to join Chester’s only inclusive rugby team. Supporters can get involved and help build a stronger community.
Supported by various organisations, Chester Centurions RUFC appreciates every bit of help from their sponsors, who aid them in achieving their goals.
The Centurions are all about promoting inclusivity, acceptance, and a love for rugby. Join the Centurions for training, touch rugby, and community, and find your place in their welcoming and vibrant club.
