The Chi Kung Teacher Training Programme, offered by Chi Kung - a local Mixed Martial Arts club in Rye, is an extensive 14-month course specifically designed for individuals who want to delve deeper into the theory and practice of Chi Kung. It presents an incredible opportunity to not only explore one's own energetic potential but also acquire the necessary skills to teach Chi Kung to others.
This comprehensive training programme intertwines ancient wisdom with modern techniques, creating a nurturing and secure environment for personal growth and development. Students will have the chance to participate in 10 engaging three-day seminars, providing a mix of in-person and online learning experiences. These seminars will run from 10am to 5pm each day, allowing for convenient breaks to refuel with lunch and a cup of tea.
Attendance at these seminars is compulsory, as your presence is crucial to fully immerse yourself in the training. However, should unforeseen circumstances arise, missed days can be made up through individual tutorial sessions with our knowledgeable tutors. To ensure a thorough understanding and successful completion of the course, home study and daily Chi Kung practice are also incorporated into the curriculum. We kindly request students to maintain a diary to record their progress and experiences.
Assessment throughout the course will consist of tutor and self-assessment, as well as the submission of home study exercises and projects. Once all elements have been successfully completed, students will proudly graduate from the programme, equipped with the knowledge and confidence to share the practice of Chi Kung with others.
To be eligible for the Chi Kung Teacher Training Programme, applicants must demonstrate maturity, commitment, and an unwavering enthusiasm for Chi Kung. Selection into the programme is based on personal assessment and interviews, ensuring that each participant is truly dedicated to this transformative journey.
The course fee for the Chi Kung Teacher Training Programme is £2,500, which includes the cost of teaching during the seminars, assessment, and class notes. Additional costs may arise from the purchase of mandatory course texts, though we aim to keep these expenses under £100. Upon acceptance into the programme, a deposit of £300 is required, with the remaining balance to be paid according to your chosen payment option: a full upfront payment (discount available), three monthly instalments, or 14 monthly instalments (with a 5% administration fee).
