CHICHESTER PRIORY PARK CRICKET CLUB

Chichester Priory Park Cricket Club, also known as CPPCC, is a renowned cricket club located in Chichester, Sussex. Established in 1851, the club has a rich history and a strong connexion to the birth of Test Cricket. CPPCC is proud to have four Senior Saturday league teams for both men and women, competing in the 1st Central Sussex Cricket League and consistently vying for honours. The club's ultimate goal over the next five years is to regain leading Division status.

Nestled within the picturesque grounds of Goodwood Estate, Goodwood CC hosts the 1st and 2nd XI fixtures, while Priory Park in Chichester is the honoured venue for the 3rd and 4th XI matches. CPPCC is actively expanding its women's and girls' division, offering hardball, softball, and T20 league teams. The club is currently recruiting girls for its junior teams and senior women interested in playing hardball or softball cricket for the upcoming season. CPPCC has a team of exceptional coaches and conducts dedicated training sessions for women and girls, either at Goodwood CC or Priory Park.

The junior section of CPPCC is thriving, with a total of nine teams catering to ages ranging from U9 to U19. On Friday evenings, over 100 junior members, aged 5-9, gather at Goodwood Cricket Club for coaching sessions led by the club's qualified coaches, spearheaded by Head Coach Sean Dobbs from Sean Dobbs Coaching. CPPCC is an ECB Focus Club, ClubMark accredited, and a former National Chance to Shine Club of the Year. It is also a founding member of the Sussex Cricket League.

As a club, CPPCC aims to provide enjoyable cricket played in the spirit of the game for members of all ages. They are committed to offering opportunities for all members to develop and play cricket at the highest level. The club prides itself on fostering a welcoming and friendly environment for all members and visitors.
