During the session, the hammock is usually positioned at hip height for most poses, but restorative poses are done from the ground at shin height. One of the signature moves of Aerial Yoga is inversions, where participants have the opportunity to go upside down. This inversion allows for a beautiful stretch that lengthens and lubricates the spine, benefiting both the physical and lymphatic systems.
