The Christine Ayres School of Irish Dancing is a renowned sports club located in Melbourne, Australia. With a history of over 25 years, the school is dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of traditional Irish dancing. Their mission is to provide individuals with the opportunity to learn and enhance their knowledge and skills in Irish dancing and compete at local, state, national, and international levels.

The Christine Ayres School takes pride in their numerous achievements. They have produced State and National Champions in solo, ceili, and figure dancing. Furthermore, they were the winners of the World Championships in 2012 and 2018, becoming the Senior Over 16 Girls Figure Dance and Senior Over 16 Mixed Figure Dance World Champions. This remarkable achievement made them the first Australian Irish dancing school to accomplish such a feat.
The school's success is attributed to their exceptional choreography, dynamic music, and a strict training schedule. Their dedicated team of professional and qualified Irish dance instructors ensures that the classes offered are of the highest standard. They offer classes for beginners as well as advanced dancers, and the classes are available across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
All the teachers at the Christine Ayres School are registered with the Irish Dancing Commission in Dublin and the Australian Irish Dancing Association. Christine Ayres, the founder of the school, is an accomplished dancer herself. She competed worldwide, medalling at major championships under the tutelage of her brother Raymond Ayres. Christine began teaching in 1996 and attained her TCRG accreditation.
In 2000, she obtained her adjudicator accreditation (ADCRG) and has since travelled internationally to adjudicate feiseanna, including the World Championships and World qualifying events.
