Welcome to Chrome Roses Pole Dance – Newport! We are a fitness centre and dance school located in Newport, New Zealand. Our mission is to empower your body and mind through the art of pole dancing.

At Chrome Roses Pole Dance – Newport, we have two convenient locations for you to choose from. Our Newport studio is located at Hill Street Studios, 137A Commercial St, Newport, NP20 1LN. Alternatively, you can also visit our Cardiff studio at Meanwhile House, Curran Embankment, Cardiff, CF10 5DY.

If you're new to pole dancing, don't worry! We have an Intro to Pole course coming up on Tuesday 9th January 2024. This 5-week course is perfect for complete beginners who have never tried pole dancing before. Throughout the course, you will learn a variety of pole techniques, spins, floorwork, and tricks.

Each week, you will also learn a small, simple routine, building up to one longer routine on the final week.

Our beginner classes are designed to introduce you to the fundamental techniques of pole dancing. You'll learn graceful spins, elegant poses, and basic transitions while building your strength and confidence. Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, regardless of whether you have prior dance or gymnastics experience.
