City of Melville Bridge Club

Welcome to City of Melville Bridge Club, located in Melville, Western Australia. The club's aim is to provide a fun and friendly environment for bridge players of all levels.

The club's clubrooms are situated within the Melville Recreation Centre, conveniently located at 431 Canning Highway Melville. The location offers ample parking space and is easily accessible by public transport, with buses running in both directions on Canning Highway. City of Melville Bridge Club hosts duplicate sessions throughout the week, from Monday to Saturday, and also on the first Sunday of each month. Visitors are warmly welcomed to join any of the regular sessions. Additionally, the club organises a variety of special events, which can be found on the flyers provided.

For those who may need assistance finding a partner, partnership coordinator Claire Weston can be contacted at 0429 398 101. If you're interested in becoming a member, the membership application form can be downloaded from the website. Completed forms along with payment can be handed to the director during playing sessions or emailed to the Membership Secretary.

- Monday: Open Session from 12:30pm to 4:15pm, and Open Session from 7:00pm to 10:15pm.

- Tuesday: Intermediate Session (below 150 masterpoints as of April 1st, 2023) from 12:30pm to 4:15pm, and Supervised Session (no partner required) from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.

- Wednesday: Topic Workshop open to all from 9:00am to 11:30am, and Open Session from 12:30pm to 4:15pm.

- Thursday: Intermediate Session (below 150 masterpoints as of April 1st, 2023) from 12:30pm to 4:15pm in the South Room, and Open Session from 12:30pm to 4:15pm.

- Friday: Open Session from 12:30pm to 4:15pm.

- Saturday: Intermediate Session (below 150 masterpoints as of April 1st, 2023) from 9:00am to 12:30pm.

- Sunday: Open Session on the first Sunday of each month only from 1:00pm to 4:15pm.

Please ensure that you are seated at the table at least 5 minutes before the start time of each session. Table fees for green point sessions are $7 for members and $9 for visitors, with reduced fees of $5 for members and $7 for visitors for Monday and Tuesday evenings. Licenced bar facilities are available for all sessions in accordance with the Club Licence.

The club now utilises Pianola, a powerful new results display facility, allowing players to conveniently track their performance and view detailed analysis of boards. Results from the past 30 days can be accessed through the website.
