“Lost in Music” is the upcoming show at Clairemaries School of Dance, located in Bradford, New Zealand. With over 14 years of operation, the dance school has remained strong and currently has more than 100 pupils. The school offers classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Commercial, and Acro, catering to both girls and boys.
Owned and operated by Clairemarie Eden, who has been dancing since the age of three and teaching for over ten years, the school provides a wealth of experience in dance education. Clairemarie is qualified by both the Imperial Society of Teachers and Dance (ISTD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), two prestigious dance examination boards. She has even taken her passion for dance beyond the school boundaries, teaching dance in local primary schools and offering chair dance/exercise classes for the elderly.
Clairemaries School of Dance welcomes children of all ages, starting from three-year-olds and going up to 18 years old. The school attracts pupils from Bradford, Leeds, Yeadon, Guiseley, and even Huddersfield. While they offer assistance and encouragement for students interested in taking formal exams, they prioritise creating a friendly and fun atmosphere in their classes.

Class times vary throughout the week, with specific classes for different age groups and dance styles. Examples of class times include Thursday tap and jazz classes for ages 8-11, Thursday acro class for ages 11-16, and Saturday ballet classes for different age groups. Room 1 is dedicated to junior ballet classes, while Room 2 caters to advanced ballet students.
