Clarke's Dance Studios

Welcome to Clarke's Dance Studios in Belfast! Founded in 1958 by Alan Clarke's parents, this beloved dance school has been a community staple for over 65 years. Alan Clarke, awarded the British Empire Medal in 2017, is a distinguished dancer and respected figure in the dance world.

At Clarke's, they offer a variety of dance classes for all ages and skill levels, including Ballroom, Latin, Hip-Hop, Kpop, and Social Ballroom & Latin. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, their skilled instructors will guide you every step of the way, helping you focus on the joy of dance.

Ballroom and Latin classes run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Enrolment usually kicks off in January and September, so reach out early to secure your spot. For Hip-Hop and Kpop enthusiasts, classes are on Thursdays. They cater to both adults and children, with special junior and tots classes resuming in April.

The fee for children's classes is £5 per person, with a £5 enrolment fee per term. You can book your classes via WhatsApp.

Clarke's also specialises in making wedding first dances unforgettable. Their expert instructors will choreograph a routine tailored to your venue and music choice, ensuring your special moment leaves a lasting impression.

Alan Clarke, the studio's director, is joined by Natasha Clarke-Evans, a talented Hip-Hop teacher and choreographer. Together, they bring a wealth of experience to the studio, including Natasha's role as a backing dancer on JLS's Irish tours.

Clarke's Dance Studios also organises social events for dancers of all levels. These gatherings offer a chance to practise, socialise, and enjoy an evening of dance. Occasionally, they host formal events where you can dress up and enjoy a more elegant dance experience.
