The Darwin Sailing Club Inc., a local Sailing club in Darwin, is thrilled to announce the upcoming Club Race Series, proudly sponsored by NT Surgery. This exciting 8-week racing event is divided into two series throughout the season and promises an exhilarating experience for all participants.
Held on Sundays, the Club Race Series features two mid-length courses each day, which can either be triangles or legs depending on the prevailing conditions. Competitive racing is guaranteed, with results determined by yardstick, ensuring a level playing field for everyone involved. It's the perfect way to spend your weekends, combining sport and leisure in one fantastic package.
After each race, participants have the opportunity to unwind and socialise at the rotunda, where complimentary refreshments await. Furthermore, they are granted access to the member areas, adding an exclusive touch to the entire experience. The last day of each series holds even more excitement, as it contributes to the highly anticipated DSC Championship. This is when series trophies are awarded, and a complimentary drinks and BBQ fundraiser takes place on the 25th of June and 17th of September.
The Club Race Series is specifically dedicated to off the beach boats CLUB 5, 6, 7, 8 & Novice 2023, making it an event tailored to the preferences of sailing enthusiasts. Rigging starts at 12:00 PM, and participants are required to attend the race briefing at 12:30 PM. The races officially kick off at 2:00 PM, and by 5:00 PM, boats are typically off the water, concluding another thrilling day on the waves.

We pride ourselves on being available for our members and the sailing community at large. That's why the club is open seven days a week, all year round. Our bar hours are from 12:00 PM till late Monday to Friday, and from 11:00 AM till late on Saturdays and Sundays. If you're feeling peckish, dinner is served between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM every day, and lunch is available from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
