The Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club is excited to announce a Club Sailing Coach session happening on the 15th of June. If you're a sailing enthusiast with some basic knowledge and the ability to sail a triangle, this session is perfect for you. The aim is to help you enhance your sailing skills, gain confidence, and transition from RYA level 2 to racing.
For those under 18, feel free to join in, but make sure to bring a parent along. The session kicks off with a group discussion at 12:30 to identify focus areas for both individual and group improvement. Following this, there will be rigging and launching of boats. A coach will be on hand to help members rig their own boats or club-hired ones.
Just a heads up - this is not a complimentary lesson but rather an initiative by the club to assist members and bolster racing involvement. While a RIB will be available on the water, it won't be used as a safety boat. Club duty crews will be around for any emergencies.
