Club PER Rhythmic Gymnastics Club: SCEGGS Darlinghurst is a vibrant and dynamic gymnastics club located in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Our team of dedicated coaches are passionate about providing a nurturing and supportive environment for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels. We believe in developing not only physical skills but also confidence, resilience, and self-discipline in our gymnasts.
Our coaching team boasts a wealth of experience and expertise, coming from diverse backgrounds including classical ballet, dance, theatre, and sport. They hold qualifications and certifications such as First Aid/CPR and Working with Children checks. Our gymnasiums are equipped with Rhythmic Gymnastics matting and certified equipment, ensuring a safe and optimal training environment for all our members.

Club PER is led by our Principal and Head Coach, Rachel Weiner, who has over 20 years of experience in Rhythmic Gymnastics. Rachel, a Gymnastics Australia High Performance Rhythmic coach and Advanced Silver Rhythmic judge, is dedicated to bringing out the best in each and every student. Her expertise extends beyond gymnastics as she is also an accomplished dancer/choreographer and certified barre instructor. Rachel's leadership and personalised approach have earned her high praise from both parents and gymnasts alike.
We offer Rhythmic Gymnastics classes at three locations in Sydney: SCEGGS Darlinghurst, TARA Anglican School for Girls in North Parramatta, and Tangara School for Girls in Cherrybrook. Our classes cater to students of all ages and skill levels, with programmes in both Foundation and Competitive streams. Through our programmes, we aim to develop strength, flexibility, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and music appreciation using Rhythmic Gymnastics apparatus such as Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon.
In addition to our term-based programmes, we also offer holiday programmes filled with fun activities for both new and enrolled students. These workshops include classical ballet, dance technique, music selection, choreography training, how to understand judging criteria, and even leotard design. We strive to make each session an enjoyable and enriching experience for all our gymnasts.
