CNC Gymnasium (500 Block)

Glimpse of the new College of New Caledonia. The College now boasts a variety of facilities to support its students, faculty, and staff, including the CNC Gymnasium (500 Block).

The CNC Gymnasium offers a comprehensive range of facilities and activities to cater to the fitness needs of the CNC community. The weight room is fully equipped with free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and cross fit equipment. Those interested in using the weight room can book an orientation through recreation services at gym@cnc. bc.

ca. In addition to the weight room, the gymnasium hosts scheduled activities such as badminton, basketball, soccer, and pickleball. These activities are open to students, staff, and drop-in participants.

Accessing the recreation services at the CNC Gymnasium is easy with the Weight Room Access Card. A $20 refundable deposit is required, along with completing a recreation waiver, which is available online. Equipment sign out is also available with a valid student ID, with no additional fees for this service, although equipment must be returned undamaged.

The gymnasium has a drop-in schedule that includes various sports and activities, free for all CNC students, faculty, and staff. From pickleball to volleyball, basketball to cricket, theres something for everyone to enjoy. The gymnasium is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 2pm on weekends. Fitness classes are also offered, including lower body strength, yoga, HIIT, upper body sculpt, Bhangra, and drumming.
