The Pemberton Athletics Track is excited to announce the upcoming Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) programme, perfect for those looking to coach runners above the age of 12 in various non-track based activities. This 4-day course will cover everything from online knowledge tests to practical assessments, ensuring participants are well-equipped to take on coaching responsibilities.
Scheduled for Session 1 & 2 on the 27th & 28th of April 2024, Session 3 on the 1st of May 2024 (Online), Session 4 on the 25th of May 2024, and Session 5 on the 18th of August 2024, this programme offers a comprehensive learning experience. Participants can expect to delve into topics like mesocycle planning and safeguarding courses over the course of the programme.
Interested individuals can register for £395 if Affiliated or £445 if Non-Affiliated, which includes a Tier 2 Safeguarding & First Aid Course. The location for the programme is Coleg Cambria in Deeside, and registration will close on the 24th of April or when capacity is reached. Remember, the minimum age requirement for this course is 18, so be sure to keep that in mind.
