Cobra Catch Wrestling Academy, located in Huddersfield, is the leading freestyle wrestling school in the area. Founded by Coach Vic in 2023, it is the only certified academy of its kind in the region. Coach Vic has been involved in freestyle wrestling since 2008 and catch wrestling since 2010. He has received training from elite coaches such as Yusef Ahlikhazi, Jack Mountford, and Mohammad Haghighatdoust, among others.
At Cobra Catch Wrestling Academy, our mission is to find dedicated young individuals from all backgrounds and provide them with valuable life skills. We aim to instil the importance of team-work, discipline, respect, and social skills through our structured classes. We create a fun and engaging environment for children to overcome shyness and participate in teamwork exercises. Additionally, we run a private community project for selected children from a BAME background, further nurturing their talents and dedication.
