Ben, the organiser, has a message for the sports community. Located in Oruanui, Commando Paintball is your go-to spot for adventure in the Lake Taupo area. With exciting activities set against stunning natural backdrops, Commando Paintball promises memories you won’t forget.

Their standout feature is the massive Native Bush Commando Paintball Field, the largest in New Zealand. Whether it's team building, stag parties or just a fun day with mates, you’ll be surrounded by native bush across 36 km of 4WD, quad bike, and off-road tracks.

All the gear you need is provided: semi-automatic paintball markers, ammo, safety masks, and overalls. It’s open to all fitness levels, and you can play for as long as you want. Experienced staff give you a full briefing to keep everyone safe and enjoying themselves.

For those looking for an extra challenge, there’s The Gauntlet. Break the rules and you’ll find yourself running it, dodging attacks from your team mates. Plenty of cover will keep you on your toes.

Stag and hen parties? Perfect spot. Strap a ball and chain on the bride or groom and send them through The Gauntlet for laughs. Plus, there's a BBQ area free to use with all bookings.

To make things easier, Ben suggests getting in touch with any questions and letting them know your group numbers in advance. While cash is preferred, they do have a mobile EFTPOS option if arranged beforehand.

Regarding cancellations, just notify them ASAP if something comes up. No deposit needed, though credit card details might be requested to secure your spot. Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged in full.
