Seatoun Bowling Club, a local Lawn Bowls club in Wellington, is thrilled to invite both bowlers and non-bowlers in the community to be a part of the exciting Community Bowls programme. This fantastic initiative aims to bring people together and offer an enjoyable bowling experience for everyone.
Running from early October through February, with a break for the festive season, Community Bowls gathers enthusiasts every Thursday evening from 6:30pm till 7:30pm. And let's not forget the incredible value, with a mere $5 per person per session, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills or give bowling a try for the first time.
Even better news – school kids can come along for FREE! We believe it's important to introduce the younger generation to this classic sport and provide a platform for them to explore their hidden bowling talents.
When you join us for a session, rest assured that all the necessary equipment will be provided. So, no need to worry about bringing your own bowls or equipment – simply come ready to bowl!
But the fun doesn't stop there! After the session, we'll fire up the barbie, ensuring that you have access to delectable BBQ treats. So, get ready to mingle with fellow bowlers and share your best moments on the green over a delicious post-bowl refreshment.
