Community Martial Arts is a renowned martial arts school located in Uxbridge, Ontario. Led by our lead karate instructor, Renshi Brian Larter (6th Dan), who has 40 years of martial arts and self-defence experience, we offer high-quality martial arts classes for both kids and adults. Our classes focus on the traditional discipline of Shotokan karate, with a curriculum that includes warm-ups, karate basics, kata, kumite, self-defence, bunkai, and ippon kumite. We emphasize building confidence through mastering fundamental stances, blocks, punches, and kicks. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, our classes are designed to provide you with a well-rounded karate program that challenges and motivates you to reach your full potential.
