With over 30 years of surfing experience and extensive coaching knowledge, Coney Surf School is the ultimate place to experience the thrill of catching waves. All of our instructors are ASI qualified and have beach lifeguard and surf safety training, ensuring that you receive the highest quality instruction and safety.

Coney Beach is a wonderful location to learn how to surf. It is well-sheltered from westerly winds by the harbour wall and pier, making it an ideal spot for beginners. The beach works best at mid to high tide and is patrolled by the RNLI, providing a safe learning environment.

In addition to surf lessons, Coney Surf School also offers surfboard and stand-up paddleboard (SUP) rentals and sales. We have a wide range of boards available, including shortboards, longboards, and softboards. Our rental prices start from just 10 per day. We also have a selection of the best stand-up paddleboards on the market.

If you need wetsuit and equipment rentals, we have you covered. We offer weekend and weekly packages on all equipment, and our friendly staff is always available to assist you. We also have a fully stocked surf shop where you can find all your surfing essentials, including wax, leashes, boots, and more. Furthermore, we carry top brands such as Billabong, Alder, Mr Zoggs, C-Skins, Tiki, and dryrobe.

As a bonus, we also offer a variety of locally hand-made crafts and the finest Welsh Coffee Co coffee beans.

After a day of surfing and shopping, take a break at our onsite coffee shop. Our cosy café is the perfect spot to relax and refuel.
