Crowland Leisure & Wellbeing Centre, located in Peterborough, is your local fitness hub. Tucked behind the primary school, next to the Children's Centre, it’s easy to get to and full of opportunities to boost your fitness.
They’ve got a sports hall, fitness classes, and personal training. You can choose from three membership types: Standard, Off Peak, or Joint. No long contracts here – just monthly payments by Direct Debit, either on the 1st or 15th. When you join, there’s a small £5 deposit for the entry fob, payable by cash or card during your first visit.
Fitness classes are led by Alison, the friendly class instructor and personal trainer. All members are welcome to join in, and non-members can hop in for £5 per class. Check their website for class schedules and register through their handy app.
If you’re keen to run your own classes, the sports hall is available – just get in touch. Alison Burton, the self-employed personal trainer, is also on hand for one-on-one sessions. Contact details are on their website.
The gym is open to anyone over 16, but they might need a doctor's confirmation in some cases. Open seven days a week, they’re there for you from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm on weekdays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sundays. Just remember, show arounds, inductions, and sign-ups need an appointment – give them a call to book in.
