Welcome to Croydon Rugby Football Club! Established in 1956, Croydon RFC is a competitive team located in the heart of Croydon. Our club offers a range of activities and facilities for rugby enthusiasts of all levels.

For senior men, we hold training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:30 to 21:15. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, all levels of experience are welcome to join our training sessions. Our club is proud to have a strong focus on developing rugby juniors. If you're interested in getting your child involved in rugby, we invite you to learn more about our Juniors/Minis programme. We cater to kids of all ages and skill levels, providing them with a fun and inclusive environment to learn and grow in the sport.

Croydon RFC has a rich history that dates back to its founding in 1956. Originally known as Shirley Wanderers RFC, the club opened its clubhouse on our current site in 1963. Over the years, we've continuously improved our facilities thanks to the support of our members. Today, Croydon RFC boasts one of the most spacious and welcoming amateur rugby club facilities in the Kent/Surrey area.

In 2003, Shirley Wanderers RFC joined forces with Old Croydonians RFC to form the present-day Croydon RFC. The club has retained two pitches leased from the City of London Corporation and in 2005, our main pitch and training area were re-laid and drained, providing us with one of the best floodlit playing surfaces in Surrey and South London.
