Dalby Go Kart Track

Go Kart Track in Dalby, also known as Dalby Kart Club, is a premier go-karting facility located off Dennis St in Dalby, Queensland. Situated in the Western Downs region, approximately 2 hours west of Brisbane, this track offers an exciting racing experience for karting enthusiasts of all ages.

Originally built in the early 1980s as a dirt-based circuit, Dalby Kart Club has undergone significant changes over the years. The track has hosted prestigious events such as the AKA Dirt Nationals and Qld Dirt Titles. However, it is now an independent track and not affiliated with any racing associations.

In 2012, the club embarked on a major sponsorship initiative with Peabody Wilkie Creek Mine, JavPac Industries, Foztrax Earth Movers, and Keltic Concreting. This partnership resulted in 80% of the track being coated with concrete, a decision made to overcome the challenges posed by the area's black soil and moveable soils. Thanks to the support of the QLD Government Community Benefit Fund and other sponsors, the entire track was fully concreted in 2018.

With a length of approximately 580 meters, Dalby Kart Track boasts a challenging layout that keeps racers on their toes. The average lap time is around 30+ seconds, providing an exhilarating experience for both beginners and experienced drivers. The track caters to various classes, accommodating kids and adults alike.

One of the standout features of Dalby Kart Track is its floodlighting system, enabling night racing sessions. This unique attribute allows for flexible scheduling and provides an unforgettable racing experience under the stars. For race results, Dalby Kart Club recently transitioned to the SpeedHive MyLaps system in mid-2021. Racers can now access and view their latest race results and live races on the SpeedHive website. Additionally, legacy results from the old MotoSponder system (2021 and earlier) are still available on the club's website.
