Dance Conversations

SE19DanceProject's contemporary dance club, Dance Conversations, is a lively and inclusive performance group that invites everyone, regardless of their dance background, to come and explore the art of contemporary dance. With a diverse cohort comprising residents from Crystal Palace, Penge, Croydon, and Sydenham, this club offers a welcoming and collaborative environment where participants can work together to create incredible performances.

The group holds weekly sessions at the Upper Norwood Library Hub, providing a convenient location for dancers from the nearby boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Bromley, and Croydon to join in on the fun. These sessions are not only a great way to further develop your dance skills, but also a fantastic opportunity to meet new people who share a passion for contemporary dance.

Dance Conversations has previously showcased their talent through performances such as the Conversations Community Dance Film Storyland, which wowed audiences at RichMix, and the captivating Stanley and Can We Meet Community Dance Film. These performances demonstrate the group's creativity and dedication to the art form.
