“Dance Academy De L'outaouais” is a dance school located in Gatineau, offering a wide range of dance classes for boys and girls starting from the age of 3, through adolescence, adulthood, retirement, and beyond. Founded in 1980, the academy has welcomed and trained over 4,000 students, with more than 1000 spectators attending their annual public events.
The academy offers programs and courses for all ages, including “Initiation”, “Formation”, and “Mise en forme”, catering to both male and female students. Additionally, they host a unique summer day camp experience, providing intensive dance training for children and adolescents since 1984.
One of the highlights of the academy is their spectacular show, “Tradition et Innovation”, featuring specially created performances by the students of the Choreographic Workshop. This benefit show allows students to interact with professional artists and showcase their talent to the public.
In addition to regular classes and performances, the academy also offers school animation programs, workshops, and dance shows, aligning with the Quebec education curriculum. These programs aim to enrich students' learning experiences and foster a deeper appreciation for the art of dance.
