At Dancefest, located in Worcester, New Zealand, we are a dance school, charity, dance club, dance company, and non-profit organisation all rolled into one. Our aim is to promote the joy of dance and make it accessible to people of all ages and abilities. We offer a wide range of dance classes for children, young people, and adults, including stretching and exercise, seated dance, contemporary technique, choreography, workshops, and guest dance artists. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, there's something for everyone at Dancefest.
In addition to our regular dance classes, we also organise special events and performances. One of our upcoming events is Disco Inferno, A Midwinter Mini-Rave with DJ Ed Steelefox. This event is designed for kids and their families as well as adults, and it promises to be a scorching dance party experience. Grab your tickets and join us for a fun-filled day of dancing and grooving.
We are also proud to announce our latest endeavour, Dancefest at The Old Fire Station. This is a pop-up dance and art space located in the heart of Worcester city. We have taken over the Old Fire Station to create a temporary dance space where we will be offering a mix of classes, performances, and workshops for people of all ages. It's a great opportunity to experience the magic of dance in a unique and inspiring environment.
If you're interested in joining our dance community, we encourage you to explore our website and sign up for our email list. We also have performance companies, such as Dancefest Performance Company (18-30) and Making Waves (50+), where you can showcase your talent and passion for dance.
As a registered charity, Dancefest relies on funding and donations from supporters like you. Your contribution plays a crucial role in helping us continue our work and making dance accessible to all.
