Dance like superheroes, leaping and flying across the floor! In our Reception classes, children continue to develop their ballet, tap, and jazz technique while exploring different themes and exercises. They will learn basic ballet positions, tap steps, and jazz movements in a fun and creative manner. The use of props and creative exercises helps to enhance their learning experience and encourage their love for dancing.
Uniform is compulsory for our Reception classes and can be purchased through our online shop. Parents and carers are not required to remain in the studio during the class.

Infants Ballet, Tap, Jazz Ready to take your dancing to the next level? Our Infants classes are designed for children aged 5–6 years and focus on further developing their ballet, tap, and jazz technique. The classes are filled with energetic and engaging exercises that help children improve their coordination, flexibility, and strength. They will learn more complex ballet positions, tap combinations, and jazz movements while also building their confidence and passion for dance.

Junior Ballet, Tap, Modern As dancers progress to the Junior level, they will begin to focus on the foundations of ballet, tap, and modern dance. During these classes, children will refine their technique, learn more intricate footwork, and explore different movement qualities. They will also have the opportunity to work on their musicality, flexibility, and artistry while having fun and enjoying the benefits of dance.

Intermediate Ballet, Tap, Modern Ready to take your dancing to a more advanced level? Our Intermediate classes are designed for children aged 9 years and above who have developed a solid foundation in ballet, tap, and modern dance. These classes focus on fine-tuning technique, improving strength and flexibility, and exploring more complex movements and choreography. Dancers will also have the opportunity to work on their musicality and performance skills while enjoying the art of dance.

Senior Ballet, Tap, Jazz Our Senior classes are designed for dancers aged 11 years and above who have advanced skills in ballet, tap, and jazz dance. These classes focus on refining technique, expanding movement vocabulary, and challenging dancers with complex choreography and exercises. Dancers will have the opportunity to develop their artistry, musicality, and performance skills while enjoying the creativity and expression of dance.

Musical Theatre Bring out your inner performer in our Musical Theatre classes! Children will explore the exciting world of singing, acting, and dancing through a variety of exercises and routines. They will learn different musical theatre styles, improve their vocal skills, and work on character development and storytelling. Our qualified instructors will guide them in developing confidence, stage presence, and a love for the performing arts.
Acro Dance Want to learn impressive acrobatic moves while incorporating dance? Our Acro Dance classes are the perfect choice! Children will focus on improving flexibility, strength, and balance while learning unique acrobatic tricks and movements that seamlessly blend with dance choreography. Exams Dance Pointe offers the opportunity for students to take dance exams through reputable dance examination boards such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). These exams allow students to further develop their dance technique, performance skills, and artistry while gaining internationally recognised qualifications. Participation in exams is optional and is based on the teacher's recommendation and the student's readiness.
Elite Team For those dancers looking to further their dance journey, Dance Pointe offers an Elite Team programme. This programme is by invitation only and provides additional training and performance opportunities for dedicated and committed dancers. Elite Team members will have the chance to participate in competitions, showcases, and special events, allowing them to showcase their skills and passion for dance.
Shows At Dance Pointe, we believe in the importance of showcasing our students' hard work and talent. We organise annual shows where students have the opportunity to perform on stage and share their love for dance with family and friends. These shows are an exciting and memorable experience for our dancers and give them the chance to shine in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Uniform To ensure a professional and unified look, Dance Pointe requires all students to wear the appropriate uniform for their classes. Our uniform is available for purchase through our online shop, where you can find a wide range of dancewear, shoes, and accessories. Wearing the correct uniform helps students feel confident and ready to dance, while also allowing teachers to observe and correct technique with greater ease.
Term Dates Dance Pointe operates on a termly basis, with classes running throughout the year. Our term dates are available on our website and are divided into three terms (Term 1, Term 2, and Term 3) with breaks for holidays and special events. We also offer holiday workshops and intensives during school breaks for those students who wish to further enhance their dance skills.
