One of the classes offered at the school is Highland Dance. This class, taught in a group setting, is open to dancers as young as 3 years old and welcomes dancers of all ages. Students have the option to attend classes recreationally or participate in competitions. Additionally, dancers have the opportunity to take examinations through the SDTA.
Highland Dance lessons are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, with spaces currently available.
The school also offers private piano lessons. These 1:1 lessons are designed to enhance performance skills and improve music theory knowledge. Musicians have the option to prepare for examinations through the ABRSM. Piano lessons take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30, though they are currently at full capacity.
For those interested in vocal lessons, classes are taught on a 1:1 basis with a variety of genres covered. Musicians can use these lessons to prepare for examinations through the ABRSM as well as audition for musical theatre performances. Vocal lessons are held on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30.
Another class offered is contemporary and modern jazz dance. Taught in a group setting, these classes provide an opportunity for dancers to express themselves and be creative. Contemporary dance lessons are held on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00.
