Join Dan Joel Surf School at Poldhu beach in Helston for a fantastic surfing experience! Located right next to the Poldhu Beach Cafe, which serves hot snacks and drinks all year round (except Christmas Day), the school provides safe and friendly surf lessons for both adults and children. From Easter to October, RNLI lifeguards are on duty, ensuring everyone feels secure while catching waves.
Founder and instructor Dan Joel has over 25 years of surfing experience, including professional competitions worldwide. He's even tackled 40-foot waves! With his wealth of knowledge, Dan is ready to share his expertise with surfers of all skill levels.
Lessons are £35 for a 2-hour session and include all necessary equipment like wetsuits and surfboards. Available slots are in the morning and afternoon, meeting by the Poldhu Beach Cafe. Kids as young as 8 can join, and there's no upper age limit. The school is also experienced in teaching disabled children and adults.
