Dareton Swimming Pool

Located in the heart of Dareton, the Dareton Swimming Pool is a popular community facility managed by Belgravia Leisure and the Wentworth Shire Council. It is a hub for individuals and families who enjoy swimming and aquatic activities.

In line with the Keep Watch programme, parents and guardians of children 14 years old and under are required to maintain visual contact at all times. The Dareton Swimming Pool is fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. It is equipped with a ramp leading into the pool, accompanied by handrails on both sides, providing easy wheelchair access. Additionally, a chair lift is available for use at both the Dareton and Wentworth Pools.

For those seeking competitive swimming opportunities, the Murray Darling Amateur Swimming Club operates out of Dareton Swimming Pool. Beginning on October 29, 2023, the Dareton Pool will be open to the public during specific hours of operation. Morning sessions will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:00am to 7:00am. On weekdays, from Monday to Friday, the pool will be open from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. On weekends, public holidays, and school holidays, the pool will be open from 12:00pm to 7:00pm.

Admission charges for the 2023/2024 swimming season vary depending on age and swimming ability. Children can swim for $5. 00, while adults and non-swimming adults pay $6. 00.

Season tickets, which provide access for the entire season, are also available for families, adults, and children.
