Darling Bowling

Loctated in the heart of the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood in Montreal, Darling Bowling is a unique urban bowling alley, restaurant, and bar on Promenade Ontario. With a retro, vintage, 60s-inspired decor, the venue boasts 24 duckpin bowling lanes, a restaurant, and a bar. Owned by Isabelle Lavoie since March 1st, 2014, Darling Bowling continues a family tradition as her father and grandfather were also managers of bowling alleys in Montreal.

Isabelle has brought new life to Darling Bowling through her energy and experience in communications in the cultural field. Visitors to the establishment can enjoy hearing historical anecdotes about bowling from Isabelle herself. Major renovations were undertaken in the summer of 2014 to give Darling Bowling a nostalgic 60s vibe, including sanding and varnishing the lanes, new flooring and wall coverings, and new counters. More renovations are planned for the coming years.

Darling Bowling is a favourite among the Montreal artistic community and has hosted numerous film shoots, as well as album launches, performances, and press conferences. The venue is also a popular choice for fundraising events. The establishment is a member of various bowling leagues and offers a variety of event packages, including Disco Fun Bowling with music and laser light effects, team building activities, day and evening leagues, summer camps, school groups, and special packages like Super Bowl, Boules & Pasta, Boules & Broue, and Boules & Breakfast.

The Darling's Diner at Darling Bowling serves a variety of menu options, including vegan and vegetarian dishes. Established in 1963 by Mr. Joe Celestino, Darling Bowling has a rich history as one of the first venues where professional bowlers honed their skills. The alley has retained its iconic Brunswick electric machines and beautiful wooden lanes for an authentic bowling experience that is truly one of a kind in Montreal.
