Hailing from Dudley, Darren's love for golf started in 1980 after witnessing Seve Ballesteros win the British Open Championship. This passion led him to join Dudley Golf Club at age 12 and pursue a dream to play in the Open Championship.
As an amateur, Darren won various tournaments before turning pro. He was part of the first winning Walker Cup Team in the U.S. in 1989 and has played on both the European Tour and Challenge Tour, competing alongside top golfers like Bernhard Langer and Ernie Els.
Darren constantly seeks to improve, working with top golf coaches, putting experts, and sports physiologists to refine his teaching methods. His impressive achievements, including winning the Midlands Boy Champion and Bells National Junior Champion in 1985, and participating in the British Open, speak volumes about his dedication and skill.
With over 150 PRO-AM titles, Darren's expertise is recognised both nationally and internationally. Since turning pro in 1989, he has competed in 26 European Tour Events.
