Welcome to Davies School of Dance (DSD), a premier dance school located in Billingshurst, offering a wide range of dance classes for dancers of all ages and abilities. Established in 1997, DSD is helmed by Lisa Langley, a graduate of the prestigious Royal Ballet School TTC.
In 2021, DSD relocated to our purpose-built studios, which boast state-of-the-art amenities such as Harlequin floors, mirrors, barres, heating, and air conditioning. Additionally, there is ample parking available for students and parents. With a focus on Ballet as the core foundation of all dance forms, we also provide a comprehensive range of classes including contemporary and Musical Theatre, ensuring our dancers receive a well-rounded dance education.
Not limited to children and teenagers, DSD caters to adults as well, offering a variety of classes in Ballet, Yoga, Body Conditioning, and Contemporary Dance. Our friendly and professional environment fosters a focused atmosphere where pupils are inspired to learn and achieve their best while having fun and making lasting friendships.
At DSD, we prioritise building self-confidence and social skills, including the ability to work as a team. As a non-competition school, our emphasis lies in providing top-notch training in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet syllabus for both boys and girls, from toddlers through to advanced levels. Moreover, DSD offers exciting opportunities for performance with our school shows, allowing our students to showcase their talent on stage.
