Welcome to De Silva Taekwondo – Wembley, a martial arts club located in Wembley, London. We offer expert Taekwon-Do training for complete beginners to World Champions. Our classes cater to children aged 3 and over, teens, and adults. At De Silva Taekwon-Do, every student matters, and we welcome you to join our team.

De Silva Taekwon-Do Association was established in 1998 in Wembley and is a member of ITF England, the National Governing body for ITF Taekwon-Do in England. Our club upholds the expert standards set by the International Taekwon-Do Federation, making us a professional organisation committed to providing excellent training.

We are proud to be one of the first Taekwon-Do schools in the UK to offer classes to children as young as 3. Our classes are specifically split into separate age groups, ensuring that students train with others of the same age. Within these age groups, classes are further divided based on ability, from beginner to advanced level.

All of our academies are fully matted and professionally equipped, providing a safe and comfortable training environment for our members. We are open all year round, offering classes for 44 weeks of the year, so you can maintain your training goals consistently.

We offer various classes for different age groups. “Very Lil' Warriors” is designed for children aged 3–4 years and provides an introduction to martial arts. “Lil' Warriors” caters to children aged 5–6 years and allows them to engage in one hour of controlled martial arts exercise. “Junior Taekwon-Do” is for children aged 7–13 years and focuses on the full ITF style Taekwon-Do syllabus.

“Senior Taekwon-Do” is dedicated to teens and adults aged 14 and above, who have an increased physical size and control of their bodies. We also have a special class for “Black Belt Taekwon-Do” students, providing focused training for those who have achieved this milestone.

De Silva Taekwon-Do has a proud reputation for sparring competition within our academies. Many of our students have achieved success at National, European, and World levels, showcasing our dedication to training and excellence.

We have two academy locations – Ealing Academy at De Silva Martial Arts Centre in Ealing Broadway, and Wembley Academy at St James' Church Centre in Wembley. Both of these locations have their own class timetables, allowing you to find the most convenient time for your training.

In partnership with True Warrior, our official approved supplier, we provide all the necessary equipment and apparel for your training needs. You can shop for your dobok (uniform), sparring protection, accessories, and more through their website.

In 2020, we launched the TKD Tekkers Training Hub, the first of its kind in the world. This online training platform offers tutorials, drills, and exercises for students looking to do extra training when they're away from class. The TKD Tekkers Training Hub is accessible to students of all ages and abilities, and it's a valuable resource to enhance your martial arts journey.
